GRINGO’S & CAMP HOPE

For the past 8 years, Gringo’s & Jimmy Changas have been strong advocates and partners with the PTSD Foundation of America, Camp Hope. It began in 2014 when our Master Enchilada Roller, Russell Ybarra, was asked to join the Board of Directors for the organization. Given his deep appreciation and respect for our Veterans and all that they have experienced and sacrificed for our country, it was a no-brainer.

As Russell has said, “We are in the people business, we just happen to serve beans & rice.” — this partnership is about serving those who have served us and being another platform to help bring awareness about PTSD that affects our military men & women. Since 2014, Gringo’s & Jimmy Changas have supported Camp Hope through hosting events, funding housing, and building a gym on-site to creating a combination plate that is permanently on our menu with proceeds going directly to Camp Hope. All of this would not have been possible if it wasn’t for you, our loyal guest, so with a grateful heart and much appreciation, we want to say “THANK YOU!”

Camp Hope’s mission is to bring hope and healing to Veterans who are suffering from the effects of combat-related PTSD. They provide interim housing, peer-to-peer mentoring, both on an individual basis and in group settings with certified combat mentors.
