The Holiday Season is upon us and we are bringing the HEAT. Our sizzling Chicken Diablo is back but only until the end of the year. This limited-time, specialty entrée has been a long-time guest favorite, voted #1 dish to bring back after we had to say ‘adios’ during COVID, and let us tell you why…
The Chicken Diablo is, of course, prepared in-house and carefully crafted by our Heart of the House team members. From scratch, we marinate & tenderize fresh chicken breasts – stuff & roll with Mexican Panela cheese, a thin-slice of fresh jalapeño, and wrap them in delicious bacon! Grilled to perfection, paired with festive veggies & garnished with a jalapeño toreado {aka a flash-fried jalapeño}.
What’s so unique about our Chicken Diablo? First, we don’t know of any other restaurants that serve this kind of item, so you can’t get it anywhere else. Secondly – Panela versus Monterrey Jack. Traditional en brochette calls for Monterrey Jack, but after grilling, the cheese melts away to almost nothing. However, we’ve got Panela cheese for the win! Panela softens while being grilled and retains its volume and consistency….plus, it gets bonus points for being a Mexican cheese.
