2016 was one for the record books so drilling down to only 10 highlights was an undertaking, to say the least. Who could forget Russell’s 55th Birthday FUN-Raiser for Camp Hope? Or the perfection that was Gringo’s The Original’s Mannequin Challenge? But, I digress, our top 10 are moments that will live on in infamy. Thank you for making them happen. Enjoy!

Through your patronage, Gringo’s & Jimmy Changas were able to donate $100,000 to the Greater Houston Flood Relief.

 

Seeing our Master Enchilada Roller rock the 2016 Redneck Romeo Calendar was epic. All proceeds from calendar sales were donated to Camp Hope — a win-win!

 

Guests raved over our Custom Patron Añejo Tequila, aged for 18+ months in Limousin Oak barrels, paired with fresh lime & simple syrup.

 

Guests purchased t-shirts, margaritas and pumpkin pin-ups totaling a donation of over $141,000 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

 

Chef Oscar cooked up delicious enchiladas on the Fox 26 morning show.

 

Our Cinco de Mayo Bash was a blast and 3 lucky guests won a vacation in Mexico!

 

We #backthebadge! To show our support, first responders and their families were treated to a free meal on us. That was over $104,000 in donated meals!

 

Our family grew in team members and loyal guests when Jimmy Changas Pearland opened in September.

 

To better serve our veterans, Camp Hope opened the Russell Ybarra Home for Heroes and Jonathan Kim Gym because of the contributions by Gringo’s & Jimmy Changas.
