108 days after Harvey brought its wrath, our Gringo’s Champions location proudly reopened their doors Tuesday, December 12, 2017.

The hurricane flooded the restaurant with 4 feet of water, damaging the interior so severely the location had to be completely remodeled. But with an amazing team and surrounding community the driving force behind the recovery process we can proudly say, that we are Gringo’s Strong. Nice try, Harvey.

And the renovations? Brace yourself. With an open-concept dining space, and an inviting bar at the center of the restaurant, we’re once again able to serve those famous margaritas and cervezas you just can’t get enough of. Care for a behind-the-scenes sneak-peek of where your favorite meals are prepared to perfection? Just feast your eyes on the panel of glass that now separates the guests and kitchen. Taco ‘bout a transformation.

“We are proud to once again be serving our loyal guests in this community that has endured so much following Hurricane Harvey,” said Joel Perkins, operating partner and franchisee owner of Gringo’s Mexican Kitchen restaurants.

The Champions location is now open for dinner with the full menu you’ve come to expect from Gringo’s.
